Jillian grew up training with the Danek School of Performing Arts, a studio in upstate NY whose tap program was nationally recognized. She also studied modern for several years under the direction of Amber Perkins, and received additional dance training while studying at Binghamton University. In NY, she was an instructor at Perkins School of the Arts and AERO Gymnastics Academy.

After moving to Charleston in 2010, Jillian joined ‘The Charleston Dance Project’ and performed with the contemporary dance company for four years. She was a co-choreographer for the 'Tap Crew' at DanceFX Charleston from 2012-2014, and performed at many events through Broe Works talent agency.

Jillian now teaches and choreographs at several award-winning studios in the Charleston area. Her tap choreography has won Excellence in Choreography awards, and Overall High Scores for her students.

When she's not teaching, Jillian is also employed full-time as a Business Systems Analyst at Blackbaud, Inc., on Daniel Island, where she helps design software solutions used by hundreds of arts & cultural organizations across the country.
