Tim is a versatile dance educator and performer whose training spans the studio, the stage, and the runway. A graduate of the College of Charleston with a B.A. in Dance concentrating in performance and choreography, Tim danced with the CofC Dance Team and appeared in numerous College of Charleston Dance Shows, as well as prestigious festivals including Piccolo Spoleto and Spoleto Festival USA. Tim's choreography and performance experience extend into pageantry and fashion, having served as Assistant Choreographer and performer in the Miss South Carolina Pageant, danced in Charleston Fashion Week, and both performed in and choreographed for Greenville Fashion Week.

On the teaching side, Tim holds an Acrobatic Arts Module One Certification and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, bringing a strong foundation in strength, body mechanics, and injury prevention into the classroom. Tim previously served as a long-term dance substitute at Rollings Middle School of the Arts, developing a well-rounded, encouraging teaching style shaped by real-world stage experience — helping students grow not just as technicians, but as confident performers.
