More About Holly:
Holly Ryder is a South Florida based teacher, focusing mainly on contemporary movement and improvisation. Since becoming certified in Vinyasa, she has developed a class that emphasizes body awareness and transitions from yoga based warm-ups to full improvisational movement and phrasework. Her students have been featured on “World of Dance,” “America’s Got Talent,” and “So You Think You Can Dance the Next Generation.” She is a faculty member of Intrigue Dance Convention, Tribe Dance Convention, and Impact Dance Convention based in Mexico. Holly’s formal training began in Georgia under the mentorship of Shannon Childers and Cherrise Wakeham, and continued at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she attended as a dance major with a focus on composition. It was there that she started to be recognized for her unique choreographic voice. Her work has been showcased on stages such as The National College Dance Festival and Raw Artists. In addition to teaching all over the United States, Holly has spent time teaching in Costa Rica, Mexico, and Canada. She feels lucky to be able to spread her love for movement exploration to dancers both regionally and nationally.
